"Kathy is a long time member of MJA ow serving on the EBoard. Kathy volunteers for committees, fundraising , events and more. She is always willing to offer her time and support to MJA activities. Kathy is a friend to all, and at a moments notice will offer to do whatever is needed to help. Kathy reminds me of Frank’s enthusiasm, and and willingness to be a full participant. I believe her long time commitment deserves recognition.
Tom embodies the spirit of this award at all times! His long time experience as both an educator and judge have consistently shown his outstanding commitment to our activity. When you read the criteria for this award, Tom clearly meets that criteria and in my opinion, surpasses it! His love and passion come through in all that he does. While he is understated many times, his impact has been and is still powerful. He has had such a dramatic impact on so many groups though both his teaching and judging and he continues to contribute a great deal. It has been a pleasure working with, being adjudicated by, and just knowing this most deserving man!
