The 2018 recipient is Patty Beggy.

"Patty, a long-time member of MJA, has always exemplified the characteristics that embody the spirit, character, and passion that Frank brought to us all. She is passionate about her craft, always enthusiastic and willing to participate in association activities that benefit our constituencies, and always an example of strong character through her kindness, truthfulness, and selfless behavior. I can think of so many times during my 12 years as President when Patty went above and beyond to support our association with the goal of doing something great for the students, staffs, units, and associations that we serve. Her energy is infectious and she always has a positive attitude about all that she does. She exemplifies the mission and vision of the association, something that Frank did always, and she is most deserving of this award."
